Hi there, I'm Zoha!
I'm a self-taught baker, blogger, photographer, and content creator behind Bake with Zoha. But above all, I'm a lover of all things sweet, and baking is my love language. I share simple and indulgent dessert recipes, with the goal of simplifying and demystifying baking for home bakers.
I was born and raised in Pakistan, and moved to the U.S. in 2013 for college. I now live in California with my husband, son, and our cat.

Baking is my lifelong passion. I was introduced to it as a child, when I would bake a whole cake or batch of brownies to satisfy my own sweet tooth. But as life got busy, baking took a backseat - until 2022, when a pandemic-induced existential crisis brought me back into the kitchen. What started as a creative escape quickly turned into a full-blown passion, and I began sharing my recipes on Instagram and TikTok (@bakewithzoha).
Today, Bake with Zoha is a global community of 1.5 Million+ dessert lovers, who have tried and loved over 200 recipes I have shared in 3 years.

Some Fun Facts
- I grew up in a small city in Pakistan called Wah Cantt, and didn't get on an airplane until I was 17 years old
- I was the classic nerdy middle child who cried over a 27/30 on a science test in 4th grade 😅
- I once earned a world distinction in O' Levels Biology (#nerdalert)
- I moved to the U.S. in 2013 to attend Vanderbilt University, where I studied Biomedical Engineering and graduated summa cum laude 🎓
- After college, I worked at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant for 5+ years 💼
- My husband, Shahzeb, and I met in 10th grade, and survived 4 years of cross-continental long distance before finally getting married in 2019 (phew 😮💨)
- We have the cutest Scottish Fold cat, Thor. He's 6 years old and wants nothing to do with anyone 🐈⬛
- We entered our new parent era in 2024, when our son, Mikayl, entered our lives and changed them forever ❤️
- We absolutely love to travel, and took 3 months off in 2022 to travel across 20+ cities in Europe ✈️
- I can't swim and have a (very rational) fear of large water bodies (why do people just walk into oceans??) 🌊
- I have terrible hand-eye coordination and an even worse singing voice (my husband begs me not to sing 😂)
- I don't listen to much music anymore - I'm a podcast and audiobook girlie (nothing productive, I must admit) 🎧
- I'm a master procrastinator who thrives under pressure. Nothing lights a fire in me like a looming deadline 🔥
